Despite a forecast calling for rain, June 7 turned out to be a beautiful evening—perfect for gathering with friends and supporters to enjoy delicious food, lively music, and shared history in the inspiring setting of Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield.
Michael Price, Local History Associate at the Springfield-Greene County Library, captivated the audience with a timeline of the foundation’s origins and its pivotal role in securing National Park Service designation for the battlefield.
